Dessy Di Lauro and Ric'key Pageot of Parlor Social flew to their hometown Montreal, Quebec to help kick off black history month with a dazzling opening number performance at the Gala Dynastie, an award ceremony in its 2nd edition that highlights prominent members of the Black community in media, sports, business and arts.
Backed by the gala's house band, Parlor Social performed a medley of their songs which included I Put A Spell On You, Go 'Head D, Higher Place, and Let Me Hear You Say Hep Hep.
Parlor Social was also nominated for Best Artist or Group on the International Scene.
