Dessy Di Lauro's Vegan Tuna Recipe

Ingredients

-1 15 oz Can cooked Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)

-1 LARGE Avocado

-2 Garlic bulbs minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder

-1 Medium Lemon

-2 Heaping Tablespoons of Vegan Mayo

-1 Tablespoon Avocado oil

-1 teaspoon turmeric

-1 teaspoon Umami Seasoning or Salt

-2 Tablespoons Smoked Paprika

 

DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl, Add your chickpeas, avocado, Mayo, Avocado oil, and lemon juice. With a potato masher, mash ingredients all up till it forms a creamy mixture. Make sure it’s smooth and not too lumpy. Then add your turmeric, garlic, paprika and Umami. Stir it all up and there you have it.

 

Spread on your favorite bread.

I add marinated Artichokes on top of mine with a little balsamic glaze drizzle on top.
